On October 29-31, 2024, the Koltzov Institute of Developmental Biology of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IDB RAS) will hold the Russia-wide scientific conference with international participation "Genetics and Development" dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Russian scientist and founder of IDB RAS, the academician Boris L. Astaurov.

The main topics of the conference are: genetic bases of developmental processes at all levels of organization, from molecular to population and species; genetics of sex determination; genetic bases of tissue differentiation and regeneration; organization and evolution of genomes.

The conference will also involve a workshop "Genetic Modification and Cell Genome Analysis" supported by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.

On February 25-27 2025, 11:00 -16:30 (Conference Hall of IDB RAS) Workshop on "Results of the research activity of the laboratories during 2024" will be held. Every Lab of IDB RAS will present their results of previous year.

Best Publication of 2023 Contest among Young Scientists of the IDB RAS was also announced.
